I, and everyone at Emtelle, would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their continued business and support in 2015.

CEO of Emtelle Group

A year in review….

2015 was an incredibly challenging yet highly successful year for Emtelle. Ordinarily, a drop in oil prices would have resulted in cheaper raw materials however; suppliers bucked the trend as raw material availability unexpectedly became scarce and prices dramatically increased. Emtelle overcame all of the inevitable challenges and maintained security of supply for all of our customers.

The company operates a policy of continuous investment and development into every aspect of the business – from internal processes to marketing strategies to product development – all in name of making our service the best in the industry.

Looking back at 2015, Emtelle has more than doubled its business compared to 2009. This growth has enabled the company to invest more than €12 million in 2014/15 – investing in state of the art technologies within multilayer PVC, multilayer PE, in-line variable sizing, fibre optics and manufacturing automation. In turn, this will mean a continuous stream of new, smarter products – all with the purpose of optimising our customers’ business

New look for Emtelle

Emtelle launched a newly designed corporate website in conjunction with a refreshed brand and new strapline – ENGAGE. LISTEN. INNOVATE. DELIVER. Far from being marketing jargon, this strapline wholly reflects our attitude and approach to delivering products and services to our customers. The new website is the result of a highly strategic and considered approach, enabling us to showcase our active sectors, solutions, applications and key products in a simple to use and intuitive fashion. Furthermore, the new website was designed with a global audience in mind, allowing partners and customers around the world access to content in their native tongue and access key information and contacts quickly.

Dynamics for Emtelle

Internally, Emtelle implemented Microsoft’s Dynamics AX enterprise resourcing software. AX represents a broad, scalable and robust method of managing the everyday operations of Emtelle including inventory, warehousing, transportation, supply and demand planning, materials requirements, production, quality lifecycle management and asset management. As an aside – Emtelle would like to take the opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused for our customers during the change over – please bear with the migration to AX will provide a smoother ordering process in the future.

Emtelle operates in a marketplace where customers expect improvements in quality and reductions in price year on year, with faster delivery and constant innovation. Whilst we continued to improve on our quality system and monitoring in Europe, using Microsoft Dynamics AX will help Emtelle further deliver on this requirement.

In addition, our Indian subsidiary, Parixit India, a developer of irrigation systems for agriculture, changed its name to Emtelle India.

New Year – new focus

Looking forward to 2016, our primary focus is improving the service offer providing an unrivalled end-to-end solution.

Specifically, this year Emtelle wishes to focus on tackling the practical issues and cost challenges of “To the Customer” solutions. We will be showcasing a number of industry shaping solutions at the forthcoming FTTh Council Exhibition at LuxExpo, Luxembourg, demonstrating our innovative approach to overcoming both the technical and financial challenges of the customer connection. Demanding and complex FTTh projects depend heavily on choosing the correct deployment method, and Emtelle are always on hand to support and advise customer with this.

A new and welcome trend that has emerged sees utility companies using their existing infrastructure and pre-existing utility ducts in innovative ways to provide customer connections. An excellent example of Emtelle’s MultiFu retractable fibre products being used in this shared infrastructure is in Arhus, Denmark – where a no dig zone in high street where it was impossible to lay new ducts made it very difficult to access the customer  – http://www.emtelle.com/experience/multifu-from-emtelle-ensures-fibre-installation-in-one-process/

2016 FTTh Council Exhibition, LuxExpo, Luxembourg

Please feel free to visit us on stand G09 at the FTTh Council Exhibition, running from the 16th to 18th February, LuxExpo conference centre, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.

As always, Emtelle expects a challenging year in front of us, where multiple macro-factors will create an impact on our industry. I assure you that Emtelle has never been in a stronger position to take on the challenges we face, and we look forward to serving you in 2016 and beyond.

Best Regards,
Mads A. Høgfeldt
